Dear Tourdeboland & Bolandcycletour rider,
Carinus and I have just had the most amazing scenic Clarence drive from Gordonsbaai to meet up with our support vehicle captain, Mark, to discuss a few details for this years Tourdeboland. Which is fast approaching! Here are a few key details to keep you on track:
🚴 Route & Groups
- All route info is available at Cyclotourism.co.za and we will send out the final GPX track links sometime next week, for you to download and have on your GPS device before the tour starts.
- Each day includes a few scenic stops along the way.
- We’ll ride in 2 or 3 groups based on comfort and ability—no one gets left behind!
🎒 What to Pack
- Overnight bag (transported for you).
- Small finish-line bag (carried in the lead vehicle for easy access at day’s end).
- Roadside tools & spares – Each rider is responsible for their own, but our mechanics are on hand for assistance.
- Major bike issues? We’ll get you to the nearest bike shop—after ensuring everyone finishes safely.
