30kms from Cape Town to Melkbosstrand. Your adventure begins the day after the Cape Town Cycle Tour with a relaxed midday departure from Cape Town. We follow the scenic Atlantic coastline towards Bloubergstrand, stopping for the famous Table Mountain photo at the iconic yellow frame and, if you wish, a coffee overlooking the ocean. From there we continue along the dedicated cycle path to Melkbosstrand, where the group settles in for drinks and dinner by the sea.

75kms from Melkbosstrand to Riebeek. Today we leave the coastline behind and head into the rolling wheat fields of the Swartland. Quiet country roads guide us towards Riebeek Kasteel, with the highlight being the climb over Bothmaskloof Pass. The reward is a panoramic view across the beautiful Riebeek Valley. After the ride, you're welcome to join an optional olive or wine tasting in one of the region's renowned estates.

Choose the ride that best suits your legs. Either 105kms for the long route or 45kms for the short route... The full route explores the rolling roads between Malmesbury and Moorreesburg before returning to Riebeek Kasteel, offering plenty of gentle climbs and classic Swartland scenery. Prefer a shorter day? Our alternative route visits the Swartland Wine Cellar for coffee before returning via the spectacular Bothmaskloof descent, leaving more time to enjoy the village during the afternoon.

Another day, another choice of routes. 100kms for the long rout or half price for the shortcut... The standard option crosses Bainskloof Pass from what many consider its most scenic side. After taking in the mountain views at the summit, we descend through spectacular scenery before following quiet roads via Wolseley into historic Tulbagh. Spend the afternoon exploring one of the Cape's best-preserved heritage towns.

This magical day from Tulbagh to Goudini has at least 3x options for distance, anywhere from 50 to 200kms. Today's stage offers something for every rider, with several route options depending on your ambitions. Those looking for a serious endurance challenge can tackle an epic route including Michell's Pass, Gydo Pass and Bainskloof. Riders wanting a balanced day can enjoy a medium-distance option, while those seeking a more relaxed experience simply cruise through the beautiful Slanghoek Valley. The day concludes with a traditional South African spit braai as the sun sets over the surrounding vineyards.

Grand Finale at the Taalmonument, with just 80kms around Paarl. The final stage begins with a gentle ride through the picturesque Slanghoek Valley before climbing Bainskloof Pass from its longer side. After a well-earned coffee stop at the summit, we continue past equestrian estates, alpaca farms and local craft breweries before tackling the final climb. The finish line awaits at the top of the Afrikaanse Taalmonument, where you'll celebrate completing six unforgettable days on some of South Africa's finest cycling roads. *For those not ready to head home, an optional wine weekend in Stellenbosch is the perfect way to end the adventure.
