A century ride to Franschhoek. After a light coffee and rusks DIY breakfast we set off along the flat roads to Stettyn’s wine cellar for something mor substantial. Remember Francois. Then up climb and down to and through Villiersdorp. Right at Theewaterskloof dam bridge and continue to the foot of Franschhoek pass. Hold thumbs that we may cycle over the pass, as there are periodical road works and repairs on it. For which we cannot account three weeks in advance. It may be that we finish at the bottom of the pass at our last water point and then get transferred to the LAB hotel in town. Holding thumbs that we can indeed cycle it.
