Cape Town Cycle Tour on Sunday 8 March 2026
The largest timed one-day cycle race in the world. Good thing you have been training for 3 weeks and almost 1500 kms up until now. A few pointers for first timers: there are many supporters cheering you on along the way. There may also be many water bottles that find their way onto the tarmac – possibly in front of your wheel. Be cognizant of the fact that there are many amateur riders around you and stay alert and safe in groups. And pace yourself as the race starts with a climb and you want to expend little energy during the first half, so that you can have a strong finish in the second half of the race. Or. Just. Have. Fun.
