TADA! First order of the new year is to pick your jersey size for the upcoming Beyond Bolandcycletours starting soon.
We hope you haven’t gained a few kilos over the festive season like we did – but if you did, not to worry – we will soon shed it all under the African sun. Below are the clear instructions on how to pick your jersey size. Kindly complete your details and submit soonest, so that we can send them off to print (the design remains a secret, all that we are allowed to say is that it will be a dark green base colour scheme as in the image below). In the next rider update we will send more info on your CTCT (Cape Town Cycle Tour) entry (for international riders) and send out invoices for additional hotel accommodation nights, either pre or post tour. Speak soon, and keep the rubber side down!
*Oh, and each rider will receive 2x Enduren eco water bottles as pictured here – so one (or two!) less thing(s) you have to pack for your flight to Cape Town.

How many jerseys?
You get 1x (FREE) Tour jersey included as part of your entry. But we are on the road for almost 3 weeks. And it looks very professional if we are all dressed the same way. Plus, you may want to brag with your South African experience back home, so why not add another jersey or two into your shopping cart? They are priced at R999 each and you will be invoiced for it separately. And you can specify the number of additional jerseys in the form below.
How to pick your jersey size
Martin Drotskie from Racepace Sportswear shares the following info on how to pick your ideal jersey size. Please note that the ladies fit is a sports fit, ie tight, so if you prefer a more relaxed fit you may opt for a mens/regular fit. Here we go. Below is a jersey sizing chart that will help you choose the correct size. How to choose your size?
- Placing your current cycle jersey on a flat surface
- Measuring under the arms left to right
- Then down the middle of your chest
- And lastly your sleeve
If you are unsure of what to do, have a look at the red arrows in the diagram to see what we mean.

Imperial sizes
On the chart above are the metric measurements so for our friends from the US we have listed the converted imperial sizes below. Each size has 3 measurements, ie (A) the distance from the chest from left to right under the arms, (B) the ZIP length and (C) the bicep diameter.
