Our final mail before the Cape of Storms – no, that is not true – according to the local weather gods, we will have less wind than this week. Let’s hope. And we will send out a last update, complete with a daily itinerary table, during this week.

🍇 Day 5 of the Tourdeboland 2025
Day five takes us past Stettyn Cellar, not for a wine tasting (because we are still on the bicycle and you will have ample time to wine and dine tonight), to Villiersdorp, and then onto Franschhoek Pass, whereafter our heads will rest at the Lab, and supper in the town centre. In keeping with the French theme (The French Huguenots, in Franschhoek) our group dinner will be at The French connection. C’est la vie. This is the good life.
🚠 Day 6 of the Tourdeboland 2025
The next morning, our final one together, will grant you a chance to ride up the western side of the Pass, or skip it altogether. And once those who did return, we will ride on to Stellenbosch via Boschendal & Banhoek and the silky-smooth tar of Helshoogte pass, into Jonkershoek, take 5, and then head to Lanzerac for tea and scones. If you want to pack a little bag in order to change into something more comfy for the transfer to Cape Town, make sure our vehicle men, Mark & John, get those from you in the morning.
